  • 8/12/2019 Nasrin Apu34/37Recommendation:I had the practical exposure in Prime Bank Ltd. for just twelveweeks, with my little experience in thebank in comparison with vast and complex banking system; it isnot so easy to recommend somesuggestion to enhance the performance level of the organization.I have observed some shortcomingsregarding operational and other aspects of their banking. On thebasis of my observation I would like topresent the following recommendations——Banking is a service-oriented business. Its business qualitydepends on its service quality. Thatswhy the authority alwaysshould be aware about their service quality. The management has to think about quicker services to thecustomers. Like Online banking systems, though it has beenintroduced. But many of the employees are not expert on computerliteracy. Themanagement should train them effectively.Proper and sufficient training is required for each and everystaff to upgrade the efficiency of theofficers in measuring riskand in selecting the profitable projects.Increase the PBLs own ATM booththat the people easily get moneywithout waste their time. They have to focus on their promotional activities. Becausetoday promotion is one of the mainweapon of attracting newcustomer. Many people dont have any idea about their new productandservices. Research and development department need to beestablished to find out the present flawsand upcoming threats and opportunities as well as inventing newan easy way to provide betterserviceMany Branches can be opened to reach the banks services inremote area. They easily collect theirforeign money from bank.
  • 8/12/2019 Nasrin Apu35/37PBL, CRB branch is a busy branch so they need to recruit moreemployees which help to providegood services to their customer.More co-ordination with local merchants is necessary to increasethe distribution & usage of ATMcards.Their internet services should be fast that the people easilyget all information which they want toknow. In general banking department it is necessary to implementmodern banking process instead oftraditional system. It should bemore computerized. These are the some recommendation from me, but over all serviceof PBL CRB are tremendously good, and which gives them a unique brand, most profitable, mostloyal, strongest financial institutions inBangladesh. Every people have some limitations. The bank is runby the people. So, the bank may havesome limitations also for their employees. But he is the winnerwho can overcome these problemsquickly and update the systems time to time.
